Disability – Misaligned jaw and blind in one eye
Pitakotu was rescused from a road in Pettah in 2022. Due to an accident, one of his eyes and the lower jaw were severely damaged. The eye was surgically removed, and the jaw line operated on. Due to the severity of the injury, Pitakotu’s mouth remains misaligned. He is fed liquidised food. Despite all what he has been through he lives a happy life.
